How long will it take me to pass my driving test?
Everyone is different, and everyone learns at different rates. The DSA say on average it takes people 40 hours tuition with around 20 hours private practise.To be honest I have never had anyone take this many hours to pass a driving test.
Can I drive on a motorway?
No. Once you have passed the driving test, there are many courses available to enhance your driving skills. One such course is Pass Plus which includes motorway tuition.
Should I practice with a friend or family member?
Yes, if you can. The more experience you have, the better.
Just remember to keep practising the skills you have learnt with your instructor, make sure the vehicle is insured for your use and that the accompanying driver meets the requirements set out by law.
